Last night, as I was getting ready for bed, I found Spencer's tie on top of my wardrobe. He must have put it up there sometime during his visit (he was always stacking all his clothes into piles up there so that my floor would be clear) and then forgot about it.
I took the tie (which is crimson and sort of horizontally ribbed and made of a very smooth material) wound it around my hand, got into bed, and cried myself to sleep.
