Our weekend roadtrip was a mix of near-disaster and awesomeness. It is funny how now, safely home, the near-disaster aspect just makes the trip seem more epic. Maryland is beautiful though. And I was well taken care of by new friends (and Spencer, who always takes care of me). It felt like the first signs of summer (even though I was surrounded by spring loveliness) and it made me so excited for the future.
