Last night, I dreamed I returned to Provo and went to the houses where I used to live. I was taking photographs of all the rooms, the couches, the yards. When I looked at the photographs, the images of people and events from the past showed up. I woke up wishing that camera existed.
There are so many more photographs now. Sometimes it seems like every little moment has photographic evidence. But that wasn't the case just ten years ago, just five years ago. So my dreams have to give those images to me.
